Dear John,
one of the most beautiful movies i've ever watched. Although ending was kinda abrupt, but the overall story line was ... sweet. The movie of course is fictional, but i guess it could have happened to some people at some point of time. This movie is a 'must watched!' because i rate it 4.6/5! -0.4 for crappy ending. It made me tear at some point of time, with a mixture of soothing beautiful soundtracks and sad moments, i guess a person like me could be easily feel touched by the movie =) yeah, so download it, buy it, rent it, just watched it.

The plus points of watching this movie?

1. It sets another 'benchmark' for guys to treat their ladies well again.(doesn't all love stories does that?)

2. Couple will tend to stop complaining about lacking of time together and spend every single second being together, just for each other. Just to see her/him for 1 more second, he/she will thank god for that.

3. Ladies will think that the Army is kinda cool actually because it buffs the guy up.

4. "Dear John Was Somewhat True"

The BAD points?

1. It't too idealistic, it's a fiction, it's fake, admit it.

2. It creates an illusion to ladies that, "omg, i wish my bf in the army could do such stuff to me" blah blah.

3. "Benchmarks", "Standards" would be set for either sex, expecting more(or less) from either party.

Every time i watched a love movie, it always leaves this bittersweet feeling in me.(?) It's beautiful to watched, the audience loves it, but than again, it shapes the society into subconsciously forming their minds, shaping the way people look at things. An simple illustration, who says iPhone or Mac is the 'best' & 'cool' products? It's because these products are being advertised on these US movies randomly. So yeah, ladies; this is just a movie, guys; this is just a movie. Just my 2 cents worth of advice =)
